Another first! Hippiefest at The Farm in Brooksville. What a fun event. Lots of peace, love, and music...and workshops and jams. Pamela Jo performed with Tamera and Jae as the Lilly Jane band (more on that to come). The venue for Hippiefest is The Farm, near Brooksville. The Farm is located in an idyllic, secluded natural forest and is billed as a "beautiful central Florida sanctuary for musicians" that grows music, not crops. There are events at The Farm each week, including an open mic on Thursdays. The Farm is a perfect place to cultivate friendships and music. I look forward to participating in more events at The Farm.
These two tracks were recorded recently in St. Petersburg, Florida at the studio of Peter Conzelman. "Black Coal Cries" is an original PamelaJoMusic composition inspired by the tragic Sago, WV mine disaster in 2006. "My Horses Ain't Hungry" is an old song with a long history and lots of musical cousins. Read more about these songs on this site in the "Latest News" section. Thanks for listening!
